In conjunction with the release of Home Groan's best of album " Cream of the Crop" in 2003 a bunch of Norways premier musicians decided to get together and celebrate Home Groan and Martin Hagfors with a "one off" concert at the
2003 Øya Festival. The band consisted of Askil Holm, Martin Horntveth (Jaga Jazzist/The National Bank), Lars Håvard Haugen (Hellbillies/Respatexans), Håkon Gebhardt (Motorpsycho/HGH), Vidar Ersfjord (Home Groan/Tom Hell/Velvet Belly/Claudia Scott), Morten Strøm (Askil Holm Band) and Pål Flaata (Midnight Choir).
The concert was awesome and heralded by both the press and audience.
The band wanted more as well, and continues to play together every once in a while for the fun of it. They are sometimes augmented by the likes of Jørgen Munkeby (Shining/Jaga Jazzist), Jørn Raknes (The Love Connection/Beat
Tornadoes) and/or Daniel Hovik (Askil Holm band).
